Cultivation methods and precautions of Amorpha fruticosa

Cultivation methods and precautions of Amorpha fruticosa

1. Soil

Amorpha fruticosa is not very demanding on the soil. Since its roots have strong germination ability, the soil should be loose, humus-rich, water-facilitating, and breathable sandy loam.

2. Water

It is very drought tolerant and can grow in areas with annual rainfall of around 200 milliliters. It also has a strong ability to withstand flooding and can grow normally in soil with accumulated water. It is a very easy-to-cultivate plant, so the time for watering during its growth period is very random.

3. Temperature

Amorpha fruticosa prefers a cooler environment, and its suitable growth temperature is around 10-16℃. Temperature protection should be maintained during its growth period to avoid the plant being unable to adapt to excessively high or low temperatures, which would affect its growth and development.

4. Lighting

The environment in which Amorpha fruticosa grows requires sufficient light. Adequate light absorption can make its branches and leaves thick and full. It can be placed in a sunny place. It can tolerate high light exposure, so a lot of protection is not needed during maintenance.
