What is the plant of Pagoda

What is the plant of Pagoda

1. Understanding Pyrola

The Pagoda Tree is a perennial herb belonging to the genus Pagoda in the family Leucocephalus. It is named after the yellow pagoda it appears in during its flowering period. It grows in cold mountainous areas above 4,000 meters, constantly resisting barrenness, low temperatures, strong winds and strong ultraviolet rays.

2. The Small World of Tahuangli

After the adult Phellodendron chinense blooms, the plant grows to about 2 meters tall, with yellow flowers (bracts) intertwined and stacked, becoming smaller as they go up, forming an airtight pagoda shape, like a greenhouse built on a high mountain, protecting the tiny flowers hidden inside. After the flowers of the hollyhock bloom, they will emit a special fragrance, attracting fungus gnats to come in for pollination. After pollination, the hollyhock will produce a large number of fruits. Although some of the seeds become food for fungus gnat larvae (fungus gnats come in to lay eggs), if there are no fungus gnats to pollinate, the hollyhock will not produce seeds, let alone continue to reproduce!

3. The preciousness of Pagoda

Although the Chinese goldenseal has not yet been listed as a nationally protected wild plant, its number is extremely rare due to its harsh growing environment. If you come across it while traveling, please do not destroy its growing environment, and do not pull it out or eat it. It is truly very precious and needs to be protected by each of us.
