How to water spider plants

How to water spider plants

There is no fixed time, just water when you see clearly. As long as the surface of the soil is dry, insert a toothpick into the soil and check. If the soil inside is also dry, you can water it. But watering varies with season and location:

Water more in summer

In summer, the temperature is high, the sun is strong, and water evaporates quickly. You should increase the frequency of watering appropriately. Water as long as the soil is dry, at least twice a day. In addition, ensure the air humidity around the plants and sprinkle water around them more often. It will easily wither if it is not watered for one day.

Less watering in winter

In winter, when the temperature is below 5 ℃, spider plants basically stop growing, so try not to water them, especially when the temperature drops to a few degrees below zero. Even if the soil is very dry, be cautious when watering. Of course, it is best to maintain it on the balcony in winter.

Less watering indoors

The indoor ventilation is relatively weak, the sunlight is not very sufficient, and the water evaporates less, so the potting soil is always moist. Water less at this time, and don't water if you see it is damp. Water appropriately according to the air permeability of the potting soil.

Water the balcony more

Needless to say, everyone knows that the water evaporates quickly outdoors, and the water used for watering dries up quickly, so it is necessary to replenish water in time.
