How to judge the deficiency of flower nutrition

How to judge the deficiency of flower nutrition

First, nitrogen deficiency

The leaves of the plant turn yellow or even dry, the leaves are small, and the plant is thin. The stems are thin and cracked, and the flowers are sparse.

Second, phosphorus deficiency

The leaves are dark green and growth is slowed. The lower leaves become yellow between the veins, often with a purple tinge, especially on the petioles, and fall early. The flowers are small and few, the flower color is poor, and the fruits are poorly developed.

Third, potassium deficiency

There are spots on the lower leaves, and dead parts often appear at the leaf tips and edges. The yellowing part expands from the edge to the middle, then the edge turns brown and wrinkles downward, and finally the lower leaves and old leaves fall off.

4. Magnesium deficiency

The lower leaves turn yellow, and dead spots often appear in the late stage. Yellowing appears between the leaf veins, which are still green. The leaf edges bend upward or downward to form wrinkles, and dead spots often appear between the leaf veins within a day.

5. Calcium deficiency

The tips and edges of young leaves are rotten, and the tips of young leaves are often hooked. The roots die before the above symptoms appear. The terminal bud usually dies.

6. Iron deficiency

The disease occurs on new leaves, with yellowing between the veins, while the veins remain green. Lesions do not appear often. In severe cases, the leaf edges and tips dry up, sometimes expanding inward to form a larger area, and only the larger veins remain green.

7. Manganese deficiency

The disease occurs on new leaves. Lesions usually appear and are distributed over the entire leaf surface. The very fine veins remain green and form a fine network. Flowers small and poorly colored.
