How to grow green radish in winter

In fact, the green ivy is not a plant that requires a lot of light, but in the winter in the north, it is still easy for the green ivy to not get enough sunlight. Therefore, in the winter, you should increase the light intensity of the green ivy appropriately. You can place it in a place with sufficient light indoors, or place it on the balcony so that the green ivy can get sufficient light. The temperature is lower in winter, so it should not be placed outdoors for too long.

Temperature management of green radish

Generally, green radish is grown indoors. In winter, as long as the indoor temperature is above 10°C, green radish can overwinter safely. If the temperature can reach above 20°C, green radish can continue to grow. But be careful not to place the green radish near heating facilities in order to keep warm.

Water management of green radish

In winter, the growth rate of the green ivy slows down and the amount of water it needs becomes less. Due to the low temperature, the water evaporates slowly, so there is no need to water it too much. Generally, the amount of water can be reduced to half of the usual amount. The amount of watering cannot be increased after heating is turned on. When watering in winter, you can leave the water needed for watering indoors for a day before watering. This will allow the water to rise to a temperature close to that of the room. When watering the green radish, you can prevent the cold water from freezing the roots of the green radish.

Fertilizer management of green radish

The growth rate of green radish is very slow in winter, so you should reduce the fertilization of green radish in winter. During this period, you can apply some foliar fertilizer to the green radish. Foliar fertilizer can be absorbed through the leaves, which will be better for the growth of green radish in winter.
