Growing onions at home

1. The onions purchased from the vegetable market or supermarket come with roots. We can eat the leaves and then replant the remaining onions.

2. Onions are not very demanding on the soil and can be planted in ordinary garden soil. If you want the white part of the onion, you can bury it deeper. If you want the leaves, you can bury it shallower.

3. After planting, water it thoroughly and place it in a place with sufficient light. New onion leaves will grow in a week.

Growing garlic at home

1. Go to the supermarket to buy garlic: Make sure the garlic is intact and not damaged, and there should be no rotten areas. Try to choose larger garlic so that it can grow more vigorously.

2. Carefully break the garlic into individual cloves. Be careful not to peel off the outer skin of the garlic cloves, so as to ensure that the garlic cloves will not rot when planted in the soil.

3. Garlic is not very demanding on the soil and can be planted in ordinary soil. Plant the garlic head face down in the soil, then cover it with a layer of soil and water it.
