How to propagate Chlorophytum comosum by cuttings

Cutting method

When taking cuttings of Chlorophytum comosum, you can choose branches from plants that are growing more robustly and cut them off for cuttings.

When taking cuttings, the soil requirements are not high. Generally, a mixed soil is chosen, which is a mixture of peat soil, perlite, pebbles, etc. Some organic fertilizer can also be added.

After processing the branches, you can carry out cuttings. After cuttings, place them in a cool place and pay attention to moisturizing. After it grows new shoots, you can move it to a place with sufficient light.

Prepare the potting soil, plant the branches for cuttings, and make sure to water them thoroughly.

After cuttings, place them in a ventilated and cool place and spray water frequently. They will generally take root in 2 weeks.
