The best time for cuttings of heartleaf vine is from May to September. Cut 2-3 nodes of strong stems and insert them directly into coarse sand or sphagnum moss. Keep the substrate moist and the temperature at around 22-24℃. It will take root about 20-25 days after insertion.

Seed propagation of spatholobifolia

The sowing propagation of heart-leaf vine adopts the method of sowing in indoor seedling trays. Its suitable germination temperature is about 25-30℃. It will germinate about 10-15 days after sowing. Transplant it when the seedlings are 5-6 cm tall.

Propagation of vine by division

When the heartleaf vine plant grows taller, you can cut the side branches with aerial roots from the plant and plant them directly in a pot or pinch them first to encourage more branches. When the side branches grow to about 15-20 cm, you can cut them off with the aerial roots for potting.
