In summer, the plant cannot be repotted because of the plum rains and high temperatures. When the plant is in bloom, the nutrients are concentrated on the flowers, so the plant cannot be repotted either.

Things to note when repotting gardenia

Early spring is suitable for repotting. At this time, because the temperature is low, the plant growth is not so vigorous, photosynthesis and transpiration are not very strong, and it is easier to survive after repotting.

As the seedlings grow, you should gradually replace them with larger pots when repotting. When the diameter of the potted plant reaches 28cm, there is no need to change the pot, just replace the soil.

When repotting, be sure to remove the old soil and cut off some of the old roots. After replanting, water it thoroughly and place it in a cool and ventilated place to allow it to acclimate. Once the plant has recovered and new shoots have grown, it can be exposed to normal light.
