Let’s start with the seeds. The seeds must be cultivated well in the early stage, otherwise sowing cannot be carried out. The seeds of Spiraea hemp usually start to bloom in 2-3 days, and will naturally bear fruit after another four days. Its dormancy is almost non-existent. It is generally characterized by flowers blooming in all seasons. You can soak the seeds in warm water (30℃) for a day and a night, then take them out and place them in a culture dish (general specifications will do) lined with moistened filter paper, and wait for about 8 to 10 days indoors at a temperature of 18-20℃ for them to start germinating.

The time for sowing is generally chosen in early summer. You can choose to sow in the open field in the courtyard or in potted plants indoors. In the southern suburbs, seeds sown in autumn will germinate quickly and can overwinter as seedlings. In the suburbs of Beijing, seeds can be sown in early April, while in the suburbs of Nanjing, seeds can be sown in early March.

Lamination

After sowing, the soil will be covered with about 0.5-1.0 cm, and it should also be covered with plastic film. It will be successfully unearthed in 7-10 days, and the primary leaves will grow after 7 days. The height can reach thirty to forty centimeters this year. It will bloom in about three years.

Shelter

If spirea is planted directly under a tree, it can provide shade. This way the seeds can grow faster during the germination stage and more seedlings can emerge.

There is also a simple way to explain it, which is the so-called sowing propagation technology, which is to sow the seeds of Spiraea hemp immediately after collecting them or to store them dry until sowing in the spring of the following year. Before sowing, the soil should be soaked with water, then sowed and covered with a layer of soil. It will germinate in about a week.
