How often should you water?

Watering of Ruyi should be adjusted according to the weather. In spring and autumn, watering is usually done every 2 or 3 days, and in summer, watering can be done every 1-2 days.

In rainy weather, don't water it too frequently. You can water it once every 5 days. If it is in winter, you need to control the frequency of watering. You can water it once every half a month or so.

The correct watering method

1. Because spring and autumn are its vigorous growth periods, the soil needs to be completely moistened when watering, and the water needs to flow down along the pot wall. It is best not to let the water get on the leaves of the Ruyi Queen. When caring for the Ruyi Queen in the cold winter, you need to stop watering and keep the soil dry to prevent the Ruyi Queen from being waterlogged and rotted.

2. The water required by Ruyi is different in different seasons. The temperature is higher in summer and the water evaporates quickly. Therefore, when caring for Ruyi Queen in summer, you need to increase the frequency of watering to prevent the leaves of Ruyi Queen from drying up and turning yellow due to lack of water. You also need to use a kettle and sprayer to spray water mist on the leaves of Ruyi to maintain the humidity of the plant.

Excessive watering

Excessive watering can easily lead to water accumulation in the Ruyi flower pot, causing root rot and then yellowing of leaves. First of all, you need to stop watering immediately and cut off the yellowing leaves.

If you water too much, you should loosen the soil in the pot in time, remove one-third of the wet soil, and mix an equal amount of dry soil. Place it in a well-ventilated place for maintenance, and then you can replant it. The plant will recover after ten days.
