How to plant Camellia Impatiens seeds

How to plant Camellia Impatiens seeds

1. End of broadcast time

According to the germination rate and survival status, any season is fine, but the flowering period will be different at different planting times, so you can work backwards based on the viewing time. Different varieties are suitable for different climates and should be distinguished.

2. Sowing Method

1. Prepare a 128-hole seeding tray and control the temperature at around 20 degrees. Pour the culture soil into the pot and sprinkle the seeds evenly on it.

2. After planting the seeds, cover them with about three millimeters of soil and use a spray bottle to spray an appropriate amount of water on the soil to keep it moist. If the temperature is well controlled, seedlings will grow in about five days to a week.

3. Post-maintenance

1. When the seeds grow into seedlings and reach a height of about five centimeters, or when they grow three or four leaves, they can be transplanted for the first time. Can be moved into a pot or flower bed.

2. When choosing a flower pot, you should insist on using breathable and well-drained materials. If you choose a single pot, you can choose one with a diameter of eight centimeters. Add breathable, loose, fertile sandy soil into it, gently dig out the seedlings in the hole tray and put them in, protect the fine roots, and add an appropriate amount of fertilizer. If placed in a flower bed, the distance between the two seedlings should be 30 cm.

3. Provide sufficient light for the seedlings. When they grow to about 10 cm, they can be transplanted. Replace the soil with a mixture of peat soil and river sand, add organic fertilizer, and pinch off the tips after the growth stabilizes.

4. The temperature must be controlled well. High temperature will make the leaves thicker and curled up, affecting the appearance. Too strong sunlight will burn the leaves. In severe cases, the branches and leaves will stop growing. Therefore, shade should be provided in summer or moved to a ventilated and cool place, or heat-resistant species should be selected.

5. The plant has a relatively high requirement for water during the growth period. When the soil surface becomes dry, water should be given in time to ensure that the soil is moist, but waterlogging must be strictly prevented. A little nitrogen fertilizer can be applied to promote growth.
