How to fertilize Chunlan

How to fertilize Chunlan

1. Precautions for fertilization

It is a traditional and popular flower in my country. The flower is relatively small in shape and is usually green or brown-yellow in color. It prefers slightly acidic soil, so be careful when adding fertilizer not to upset the soil's pH. Follow the rule of small doses and frequent use.

It is best to add fertilizer when the weather is sunny and the temperature is between 15 and 30 degrees. If it is cloudy or raining, you should temporarily stop adding fertilizer. Pay special attention to the fact that it is best to use organic fertilizer, which must be fully decomposed before it can be used. If you are spraying fertilizer on the leaves, pay attention to the dosage and don't use too much.

2. What fertilizer to apply

When fertilizing it, pay attention to the full coordination of phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium, as well as the absorption of trace elements. Be careful not to apply too much ferrous sulfate. The fertilizer should be evenly distributed and effective, providing what it needs for growth. It is best to use flower fertilizer that can resist disease and prolong flowering time. Friends who don’t know how to prepare it can buy special flower fertilizer for this kind of flower.

3. The number of times you add fat

It has two ways of fertilizing, one is through the soil and the other is through the leaves. It grows relatively slowly and generally only needs a small amount of fertilizer. In spring and autumn, when it grows more rapidly, add alum fertilizer water to it once a week and let it decompose. No fertilizer is needed during hot weather and severe winter. It is best to use organic fertilizer. Fertilizing the leaves can supplement other trace elements. It is best to do it once every half a month during the peak growth season. If its leaves are shiny, it means it is not lacking in fertilizer. If they are dull, it needs to add fertilizer.
