How often should I water my cyclamen?

How often should I water my cyclamen?

1. Spring

It is still in bloom in spring. During this period we need to pay attention to watering. Generally speaking, we need to water it relatively more. After the flowers fade, we need to reduce the amount of water given to it appropriately. Once every two or three days is better.

There is also a set of methods for watering. Generally speaking, the correct operation is to stop watering after water leaks out of the bottom hole in the pot. We also need to be careful not to pour water on the flowers, otherwise the flowers will easily rot. If the flowers and leaves wilt due to water loss, we should put it in a cool place. If it can stand upright again after an hour or two, it means it is normal.

2. Summer

In summer, you need to water more often, and it is better to water once a day. Because the temperature is relatively high and the water evaporates quickly, we can spray it with more water to ensure that it will not have problems due to lack of water.

By July, its flowers have already withered, and we have to stop watering it so that the dead leaves will go dormant and it will start to grow normally in the spring of the following year. After new leaves emerge, we increase the amount of water.

3. Autumn

Autumn should be a dormant period. During this period we cannot provide it with too much water, just keep the soil moist. Generally speaking, we only need to water the plants once every five days.

4. Winter

It tends to bloom in winter, so we cannot give it too little water in winter. It is more appropriate to water it every two or three days like in early spring.

5. Notes

The above watering frequency is just a general data for reference. Flower lovers are advised to adjust the specific watering time according to the specific situation of their own flowers.
