How to divide Chlorophytum comosum

How to divide Chlorophytum comosum

1. Keep it well

A major factor in ensuring that it can be divided into two pots is that the original pot must be taken care of very well. If it is not taken care of well, it is very likely that the number of divided plants will be small, and it is more likely that they will not survive due to weakness. So we must first ensure that the plants to be divided are already very lush.

2. Take out

1. First, we need to take the original flower out of the pot. Generally, we turn it upside down so as not to damage the roots. At this time, we will notice that the flowers are connected by many stems, so we need to take out some soil and remove the smaller roots before we can start the formal division.

2. In order to make it look good, we need to put three or four plants together, and then we can put them into the pot. You can use ordinary soil, and putting some peanut or walnut skins underneath is a good method, because this will increase its permeability.

3. Reinstall

After that we have to replant it. Generally we have to give it a little water so that its soil will not dry out, but not too wet to cause problems with the roots. Moreover, we cannot let the replant face the sun directly. We can only place it as we wish when it grows well. This is a very good plant. If it grows to a certain period of time, you can try to divide it.
