How to grow jasmine well

How to grow jasmine well

1. Watering

Watering can be changed appropriately according to seasonal changes. The amount of watering can be appropriately increased during the growing period. Do not let the soil in the pot be too wet when watering at other times, and do not allow water to accumulate. Be sure to water thoroughly when watering. It is best to water in the morning or evening. If the weather is hot, it is easy to scald it when watering.

2. Fertilization

During its peak growth period, you should increase the amount of fertilizer to make it grow better. In summer, it is generally applied once every 15 days. The amount of fertilizer should not be too much. If the branches and leaves grow wildly but do not bloom, it means that the amount of fertilizer is too much and you should reduce it appropriately. After flowering, you can apply thin fertilizer. When fertilizing, you should apply thin fertilizers frequently. Generally, apply some phosphorus and potassium fertilizers in appropriate amounts from June to September. This can better promote the development of flower buds.

3. Pruning

If you want it to have more branches and flowers, proper pruning is indispensable. The dry branches and yellow leaves should be cut off appropriately, and the branches that are protruding from the top also need to be cut off. After it blooms, the withered flowers should be cut off as soon as possible, and the branches that grow too densely should also be cut off, which can be more conducive to the growth of flower buds.

4. Repotting

If you want the jasmine to grow better, you need to change the pot. When changing the pot, you don’t need to trim the roots. Just change to a suitable pot and water it. Because its roots are constantly growing, if you don’t change the pot, the nutrients will be insufficient, which will affect its normal growth.
