1. Check the leaves

Sometimes, people rub or cut the edges or veins of leaves, or even draw lines on the leaves with paint to pass them off as rare varieties. Sometimes, diseased plants are sold as rare varieties. For these, one needs to look at its leaves. Check to see if they are intact, whether they have been contaminated, or whether they have been specially treated.

2. Check the flowers

Sometimes, the flowers of some rare varieties are cut off and inserted into common varieties and sold as rare varieties. For them, you have to look closely at their flowers to see the flaws.

3. View the root

Sometimes, when the roots of rare species are damaged, they are grafted with the roots of ordinary orchids. Therefore, it is also necessary to check the roots.
