How long does it take for carnation cuttings to take root?

1. Cutting method

There are three steps to carnation cuttings. First, choose healthy and strong new branches, and cut branches about 10 cm in length from the nodes; then choose soil with good air permeability as the substrate for cuttings, water it thoroughly and place it in a cool place; after about 2 months of rooting, transplant it into a pot, give the plant plenty of sunlight, and maintain it normally.

2. Maintain the environment

It is best to carry out cuttings after early spring, and maintain the maintenance temperature at around 14-20℃, which is conducive to rooting and plant growth; in addition, maintain sufficient sunlight, and water after the potting soil is dry. Diluted phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can be applied before flowering.
