How to pinch the tip of Chinese evergreen

How to pinch the tip of Chinese evergreen

1. Remove the top

By pinching the tip of the evergreen, you can make it sprout side branches and make the plant grow shorter. When pinching, mainly choose tender branches. As long as its new buds have not grown yet, when it is relatively tender, pinch off the top.

2. Tipping Method

When pinching the tips of the flowers, we can use sharp scissors or a blade to cut them, or we can pinch them off or break them off directly with our hands. By destroying its apical dominance, nutrients can be transferred from the top to the leaf buds below. After that, when the new buds grow from the leaf buds below, the plant will grow more compact, low and dense, and the ornamental effect will be better.
