How to water lucky bamboo

How to water lucky bamboo

1. Watering method during hydroponics

1. When growing it hydroponically, the most important task is to change the water. Usually you need to change the water every once in a while. When the temperature is too high, that is, in spring and summer, it grows very fast and you need to change the water more frequently. The best time is once every 3 to 5 days. Then in winter, the temperature is lower and its growth becomes slow. At this time, you can extend the water change time appropriately, with once every 10 days being the best.

2. Although you need to change the water frequently during hydroponics, it also depends on the specific time. If it is in the rooting stage, it is not suitable to change the water at this time. You should add appropriate water after the water evaporates.

3. It likes rotten water very much. If it has grown roots during hydroponics, you should reduce the number of times you change the water. If you change the water too frequently, it will affect the roots' ability to absorb nutrients and make the leaves turn yellow.

2. Watering method during soil cultivation

1. It likes moist places, so during the growing season, the soil must be kept moist at all times and the air humidity should also be higher.

2. In spring and autumn, the soil in the pot should be kept properly moist. Watering can be done according to the actual situation of the soil in the pot. In summer, not only should the soil be moistened, but water should also be sprayed around the pot to increase the humidity of the air. In winter, because the temperature is lower, its growth slows down, so watering should be restrained at this time. The soil should not be too wet. In addition, when watering, pay attention to the temperature to prevent frost damage to the roots.
