It is quite sensitive to salt, so it is best to choose slightly acidic water when watering. If you use household water, you can leave it for 2 to 3 days before using it. But the water cannot be too acidic, otherwise it will affect its ornamental effect. In fact, natural rainwater is the best. Whenever it rains, we can store more, or put tap water in a bottle for 3 to 4 days, and then spray it on the leaves.

1. Watering frequency

It has different requirements for water quality at different times. In the seedling stage, its root system is very weak and not drought-tolerant, so after planting it, you can spray it with water every 2 to 3 days to keep the soil in the pot moist at all times to allow it to grow more new roots. Then when it reaches the medium and large seedling stage, it needs a lot of water, so you can give it a little more water at this time. But when it blooms, you should reduce watering, otherwise it will affect its flowering.

2. Watering time

In spring, autumn and winter, choose to water it when the weather is good, preferably in the morning or at noon. In summer, you can choose to water in the evening, but never water at noon.

3. Water temperature control

When watering it, keep the water temperature at around 15 degrees, which can help it resist severe cold and heat. But the medium cannot be too wet, because its roots are semi-fleshy and have enough moisture of their own, so water it moderately.
