1. Root cuttingWhen buying enoki mushrooms, choose those with intact roots, preferably with some soil. Cut off the darker and harder roots. It is best to cut more of the densely growing ones. Then wrap the cut roots in a plastic bag and set aside. 2. Cultivation nutrient solutionPrepare water, baking soda, and a container of an appropriate size and depth. Add about 2 teaspoons of baking soda and an appropriate amount of water into the container. The water should not be too much, just about half of the roots. Stir it together to incorporate the baking soda completely. If there is no baking soda, edible alkali can be used instead. 3. RegenerationPut a few wet wipes or cotton pads in the water, put the cut roots in, seal it with plastic wrap, and place it in a cool place to wait for it to take root. Enoki mushrooms have very strong vitality and can grow on their own in an alkaline and humid environment. You just need to control the temperature between 5 and 10 degrees. |
