How to grow oleander

How to grow oleander

1. Lighting

When caring for oleander, it should be kept in an environment with sufficient light. It can be cultivated in full light.

2. Soil

Oleander does not have very strict requirements on soil and can adapt to most soils, but it is best to grow in neutral or slightly acidic soil.

3. Temperature

Oleander can tolerate temperatures as low as zero degrees for a short period of time. Generally speaking, it will suffer severe frost damage after temperatures fall below minus 10 degrees Celsius. Therefore, in the winter in the north, oleander should be kept indoors.

4. Fertilizer

Oleander is not particularly demanding on fertilizers. During the growing season, two or three applications of fertilizer after flowering can meet its basic growth needs.
