Complete automatic watering in 1 minute, and leave it alone for 7 days, the green ivy will still grow wildly!

Complete automatic watering in 1 minute, and leave it alone for 7 days, the green ivy will still grow wildly!

Cotton cloth water absorption method

This can be said to be very simple, and you can understand it with just one picture. Soak one end of the cotton strip in water and tie the other end to the flower to complete the task of automatic watering.

Note: Succulent plants are very drought-resistant and do not need to be watered during the 7-day holiday. This method can be tried for moisture-loving plants such as green ivy, white calla lily, and other drought-intolerant grasses and flowers.

Plastic bag water seepage method

Find a watertight plastic bag, fill it with 80% water, tie the bag tightly, poke a small hole in the bottom with a needle or toothpick, and then put it in the flower pot.

Moisture-loving plants such as green ivy, asparagus fern, evergreen, ivy, and pennywort are all suitable.

Infusion tube drip method

Infusion tubes and beverage bottles can be made into an automatic drip irrigation device, which can achieve automatic watering by hanging bottles.

How to operate

1. Find a plastic bottle and use a heated screwdriver to drill a small hole of about 5 mm at the bottom.

2. Insert the needle of the infusion tube and stick the interface with water to prevent leakage.

3. Insert the other end of the infusion tube into the soil and adjust the flow rate yourself.

Note: Remove the bottle cap during infusion. If it is an upside-down plastic bottle, poke a small hole at the bottom of the bottle to allow ventilation and increase air pressure, otherwise no water will come out after half of the infusion is done.

You can also use a basin instead of a plastic bottle, which is simple and convenient, as shown in the following picture↓↓↓

Plastic bottle water replenishment method

You can make an automatic watering device with a plastic bottle and a pallet. When the water in the tray is less, it will automatically absorb water; when the tray is full of water, it will stop absorbing water.

How to operate

1. Use a small screwdriver to make two holes 1 cm apart at the bottom 1/5 of the way of the plastic bottle, which will serve as the air inlet and water outlet pipes respectively.

2. Find two straws as the water outlet and air inlet pipes, place the flower pot in a tray filled with water, with the water outlet pipe completely inserted into the water and the air inlet pipe just above the water surface. As shown in the picture↓↓↓

3. Fill the plastic bottle with an appropriate amount of water, tighten the bottle cap, and an automatic watering device is completed.

Super simple basin method

The principle of a sitting pot and an immersion pot is the same. Just put the flower pot in a container of water. It is very simple, but be careful that the water level cannot be higher than the flower pot.

Beer bottle inverted method

Poke a hole in the beer bottle cap, fill the bottle with water, tighten the cap, and insert it upside down in the soil in the pot, and it will water the plant automatically.
