How to grow frangipani in autumn

How to grow frangipani in autumn

1. Increase the lighting time

It itself prefers sunlight. With sufficient sunlight, the plant will grow stronger. If this requirement cannot be guaranteed, it will grow poorly. In summer, it may be appropriately shaded, but in autumn, the shade can be removed to allow it to have full exposure to the sunlight. If it is in a hidden place, the leaves will fall off.

2. Prepare for fertilization

During the growing season, fertilizer may be applied every 15 days to provide a continuous supply of nutrients for the plant's growth. After autumn, it is necessary to apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers once, which can improve the resistance of the plants and prepare for the coming winter.

3. Temperature control

It can withstand high temperature environments, but cannot withstand cold. 18 to 28 degrees Celsius is the suitable range for its growth. When the temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius, its growth will be hindered. After entering autumn, the temperature changes greatly and may drop suddenly, so the plants may be frozen. It is necessary to choose the right time and move them indoors for maintenance.
