2. Fruit Difference

The capsule of cat's eye grass is hairless, and the seeds are oblong, about 2 mm long, and very smooth. There is a longitudinal groove on one side, and there are no raised spots or reticular patterns.

The capsule of the lacquer tree is hairless, and the seeds are oval with raised reticular patterns on the surface.

3. Differences in flowering and fruiting periods

The flowering and fruiting period of cat's eye grass is between April and October. There is a big difference between the two. Ze Lacquer does not have a fixed flowering and fruiting period.
