How to care for the golden jade flower

Growth conditions of the golden jasmine

The environment requirements of the golden jade flower are not high. As long as it can be provided with appropriate amount of sunlight during the growth process and pay attention to timely replenishment of water and fertilizer, it can grow well. If you can apply more phosphorus fertilizer before it blooms, it can also increase the number of flowers. The suitable growth temperature is between 20-32℃.

How to grow the golden jade flower

The soil for growing the golden jade flower should be as slightly acidic as possible, and its air permeability should be ensured. Watering should meet its growth needs. On the premise of sufficient water, it should also be sprayed with water to retain moisture. The water content should be controlled during dormancy. Under normal circumstances, it should be allowed to receive scattered light instead of direct sunlight in midsummer.

Watering the Flowers

The frequency of watering the Golden Jade Plant is generally determined according to the season. In spring, it is usually watered once every 3-4 days, 1-2 times a day in summer, and once every 2-3 days in autumn.

Fertilization of Jinyumantang Flower

The golden jade flower should be fertilized frequently. Generally, compound fertilizer is applied once a month. More nitrogen fertilizer should be applied when the plant is sprouting, and more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be applied during the flowering period.

Pest and disease control of golden jade flower

The common pest of the golden jade flower is root-knot nematode disease. In order to prevent and control it, the substrate needs to be exposed to the sun. Mix furadan granules and MiLe in the substrate, cover it with plastic film for 10 to 15 days and then cultivate it.

The common disease of the golden jade flower is stem rot. Once the disease occurs, it is necessary to use pesticides to control it in time. You can choose to spray Sildenafil or potassium permanganate on the base of the stem, and spray it continuously for 2 times, once every 7 days.

How to grow Jinyumantanghua at home

1. Potting soil: The best soil for growing the golden jade flower is slightly acidic soil with good drainage. When caring for it, it is recommended to mix a small amount of river sand into the slightly acidic leaf mold to make the culture soil.

2. Light: The golden jade flower is suitable for growing in semi-shaded areas. It should be placed in a place with good light. It should not be placed in a place that is too dark or too bright, otherwise it may grow poorly.

3. Temperature: The temperature during maintenance should be controlled between 16-28℃. If the temperature is above 32℃, the growth will be slow, and if it is below 5℃, it will be frostbitten. Therefore, the temperature must be controlled in summer and winter.

4. Watering: The golden jade flower likes a slightly moist growing environment. It is very afraid of drought and waterlogging. During the growing season, it should be watered every 3-5 days to keep the soil slightly moist to facilitate its growth. However, in winter, the water content should be controlled and watered once every 15-20 days.

5. Fertilization: If you want the golden jade flower to bear more beautiful flowers, you need to add fertilizer in time. During the growing season, you should apply more compound liquid fertilizer to help it grow. Before flowering, you should spray more phosphorus fertilizer to help it bloom and bear fruit.

Precautions for the maintenance of Jinyumantang flower

When caring for the golden jade plant, you need to pay attention to proper pruning. Use sharp scissors to cut off the branches and leaves that are growing poorly or cannot grow normally, help the plant save nutrients, remove the branches and leaves that grow too densely, and improve the ventilation capacity between plants.
