Jackfruit growth environment conditions and requirements

Jackfruit is a very common fruit. It is an evergreen plant and a tropical fruit. It generally grows in Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi, Fujian and Yunnan. Jackfruit usually likes to grow in places with high temperature, high humidity and sufficient light.

Jackfruit growth temperature

Jackfruit prefers high temperature environment and generally cannot be grown in the north. The most suitable growth temperature for jackfruit is around 22-35 degrees. It has high temperature requirements and is afraid of freezing. As long as the ambient temperature is not lower than zero degrees, it can bloom and bear fruit normally.

Jackfruit growth humidity

Jackfruit likes a humid environment, so the requirements for environmental humidity during maintenance are relatively high. The best air humidity is 85-95%. During daily maintenance, it only needs to be around 70%, and the soil just needs to be moist at all times.

Jackfruit growing soil

Jackfruit likes sunlight and grows relatively fast. It is generally more suitable to be planted in deep, loose and fertile soil. The soil should also have good drainage and air permeability so that there will be no water accumulation.

Jackfruit growth cycle and process

It usually takes 5-10 years of care for jackfruit before it can bear fruit. Jackfruit is in the growing period almost all year round. Its growth cycle is very long. It usually blooms from March to August each year, and will bear fruit in succession from June to November.
