The growth environment and characteristics of bamboo fungus

The growth environment conditions and requirements of bamboo fungus

Bamboo fungus is known as one of the "Eight Treasures of Grass" and is widely distributed in the world. This plant has relatively high requirements for water and temperature. It prefers a high temperature and high humidity growing environment and has relatively high requirements for water and temperature.

Bamboo fungus growth temperature

The most suitable growth temperature for bamboo fungus is 20-23℃, and the growth temperature for mycelium is 4-28℃. The plant likes a warm environment. Too high or too low temperature will cause poor growth of bamboo fungus. It will grow poorly when the temperature is below 15℃.

Bamboo fungus growth humidity

Bamboo fungus has relatively high requirements for growth humidity. During the formation of fruiting bodies, the relative humidity of the air needs to be around 85%-90%, and the humidity of the soil must reach 20%.

Bamboo fungus growing soil

During the mycelium growth stage, bamboo fungus can still develop well even without soil, but when it reaches the reproductive growth stage, it needs to be covered with soil, and the soil must contain sufficient trace elements.

Growth cycle and process of bamboo fungus

The growth of bamboo fungus is relatively slow, with a cycle of about one year. It takes about 10 days from germination to initial head formation, after which the growth of the plant will gradually accelerate until it begins to fall, which is the best time to pick it.
