Ginkgo tree growth temperature

Ginkgo trees mostly grow in temperate and subtropical regions. The most suitable growth temperature is 18-22℃. The plant has a certain degree of cold resistance, and the lowest cold resistance temperature is -20℃. It generally will not be frozen to death.

Ginkgo tree growth humidity

Ginkgo trees have relatively high requirements for air humidity when growing. The relative humidity in the plant distribution area is about 74%-80%. If the air humidity is low, the growth of ginkgo trees will become slow.

Ginkgo tree growing soil

Ginkgo trees are afraid of drought, waterlogging, and salinity, and prefer soft, moist, and fertile soil. Sandy soil should be used as the main soil for planting, and it is best to choose an area with fertile soil for planting.

Ginkgo tree growth cycle and process

The growth cycle of the ginkgo tree is very long. It takes 20 years from sowing to fruiting, and 40 years to enter the peak fruit-bearing period. Therefore, it is also called the "Gongsun Tree". Spring and autumn are its peak growth seasons.
