How to grow the first love succulent

1. Leaf cuttings : First Love succulent is generally cultivated by leaf cuttings. You need to select leaves with fuller flesh, remove them and place them in the soil, then wait for them to take root and sprout.

2. Beheading : Wait until the plants grow up, select the stronger ones, quickly cut off the top, leaving a layer of leaves, and place the cut part in a sun-free place for 1 to 2 days. After the incision becomes dry, insert it into the soil. It will take about 15 to 25 days for new roots to grow. If many new plants grow in the pot, it will have the effect of bursting the pot.

3. Growth environment : The succulent First Love needs sufficient light and a warm and dry environment when planted. It is relatively drought-resistant and cold-resistant. The best growth temperature for it is between 15-30 degrees. It can also grow in a high temperature environment of 35 degrees in summer. If the temperature is higher than this, it needs to be shaded.

4. Repotting and fertilizing : In spring and autumn, the succulent First Love needs to be repotted according to the growth of the plant, and fertilized every 20 days during its growing period. It should be watered in time when the soil is dry, and the amount of water needs to be controlled during the summer dormancy period.

And because of the maintenance season and climate, the amount of watering must be strictly controlled. Generally, it is watered once a month and requires sufficient water supply.
