The yield per mu is generally around 5,000-7,000 kilograms, and the market price per kilogram ranges from 2 to 5 yuan. Chayote Planting Steps and Methods1. Choose melon seeds Select disease-free melons for planting. The melons should be about 30 days old and the storage temperature of the melons can be controlled at 5-10℃. 2. Seedling management Before sowing, take out the seed melon, place it in a room at 20℃, cover the bottom with about 3 cm of river sand, and you will see white fibrous roots in about two weeks. 3. Planting management When the melon seedlings grow to 20-30 cm, they are transplanted in pits. Before planting, the soil should be tilled and fertilized, then watered thoroughly. Transplanting can be done two days after watering. |
