Schisandra generally grows in mountainous environments. Its drought resistance is relatively poor and it requires a suitable moisture environment under normal circumstances. When planting, fertile, well-drained soil is required.

When Schisandra chinensis is growing, the temperature needs to be kept between 25-28 degrees. It is not cold-resistant, so the temperature cannot be lower than 0 degrees during maintenance, otherwise it will affect the growth of branches and leaves.

Schisandra chinensis has two periods of vigorous growth. The first is in May and June, and the second is in July and August. During the growth period, it is necessary to maintain a suitable temperature environment, and water and fertilize in time to allow it to grow well.

When planting Schisandra chinensis, the sowing propagation method is usually adopted. It needs to be sown in May every year. Before sowing, a simple germination treatment is required, and then loose and fertile soil is prepared for planting.
