The growing environment and local conditions of coconut trees

Coconut Tree Growth Environment and Conditions

The coconut tree is a tropical plant that prefers a high-temperature growing environment. It needs plenty of sunlight when being maintained. It is widely distributed in Asia, Africa and other regions. In my country, it is mainly distributed in Hainan Island, and its output accounts for about 80% of the country's total. It is also planted in small quantities in Yunnan, Guangxi and other places.

Coconut Tree Growing Conditions

Coconut is a tropical plant that grows better in a high temperature environment. It needs sufficient water and light when caring for it. The soil used should also be loose, fertile and well-drained.

Coconut tree growth temperature

When caring for coconut trees, the annual average temperature needs to be kept above 24 degrees, and the temperature difference should be kept as small as possible, otherwise it will affect its flowering and fruiting. Normally, the temperature should be kept at 26-27 degrees.

Coconut tree growth process

Coconut trees develop from coconut seedlings that grow from old coconuts in a humid environment. When they grow 4-5 leaves, they will take root at the bottom. As the stems and leaves of the plant become thicker and stronger, they will slowly break away from the coconut shell. As long as there is enough water, it will continue to grow. When the trunk grows to 20-30 meters high, it will bear fruit the next year.

Coconut tree planting time and method

Because the planting time of coconut is closely related to its environment and climate, mild climates are generally chosen for planting. It will reproduce through seeds, and the seeds need to be buried in the soil to half of the fruit. When the buds are 10-15 cm long, they can be transplanted to a cool environment and watered in time.
