Jasmine

1. Take cuttings

Because the survival rate of old branches is relatively low, it is best to choose new branches of the current year for cuttings.

The branches should be cut at an angle below, leaving one leaf on each side. This will reduce water evaporation. The final length of the branches should be about ten to fifteen centimeters.

2. Cuttings

Next, we need to insert the cut cuttings into the prepared soil and sand. The soil must be loose, slightly acidic sandy soil with good water permeability and air permeability.

In order to avoid damage to the epidermis of flower branches when they are grafted, flower lovers can use a pole to poke holes in the soil.

When grafting, be sure to straighten the branches and press the surrounding soil with your fingers so that the branches will not loosen!

After completion, place it in a dark and ventilated place. It will take about a month to take root, and it will grow roots in about two months!

Cut a branch from a healthy purple moon plant. It is best to choose one with plump leaves. Wait until the wound of the branch dries naturally and then insert it into the soil. Then spray some water on its surface and the soil surface to moisten it.

Bougainvillea

1. Preparation for cuttings.

Soak coconut coir and add perlite as planting material for bougainvillea cuttings.

Prepare some disposable plastic cups and make sure to poke a few holes at the bottom to allow water to leak out.

Fill with planting material and get ready.

Dilute potassium permanganate, pour it into a cup to clean the planting material, disinfect the planting material, and prevent bacteria from growing and affecting root development.

2. Cutting process

Prepare semi-lignified branches and cut off some of the leaves.

Place the branches inserted into the soil in a foam box and cover it. Open it up every day to allow the branches to breathe for ten to twenty minutes, and spray a little water every three or four days. It will take root in one to two months.

3. Transplanting seedlings

Choose some loose and breathable soil, spray it with moisture, put it in the flowerpot, and then take the entire cutting soil out of the original cup without loosening it.

Put it directly into the flowerpot, lightly press the soil on both sides and put the flowerpot into the incubator. It will take about two weeks for the seedlings to grow and then be taken out of the box.
