Eggplant Seed Planting

Eggplant is generally planted in the open field. In the Yangtze River Basin, it is mainly sown from winter to spring before germination. In the north, seedlings can be grown in hotbeds in early spring.

At the end of February or the beginning of March, you should start sowing seeds and raising seedlings. First, prepare the nursery ground, break up the soil clods, and sprinkle base fertilizer, such as fully decomposed chicken manure, then mix the seeds with sand and spread it evenly on the ground.

It will bloom two months after planting. When flower buds appear, remember to add more manure or organic fertilizer to provide it with sufficient fertilizer for growth. When it is too hot and dry in summer, you need to water it frequently to keep the soil moist. Eggplant is actually very easy to grow, and you basically don't need to take care of it after it grows up.
