Soybean Growing Conditions

Soybean is a short-day crop that prefers a warm, humid and well-lit growing environment. The plant requires a lot of water and requires deep soil layers and rich organic matter content. The main producing areas are Heilongjiang, Hebei, Liaoning and other places.

Soybean is a crop that likes warmth but is not cold-resistant. The minimum temperature for plant germination is about 10℃, and the optimum temperature for growth is 20-25℃. The plant is not cold-resistant and cannot bloom when the temperature is below 14℃.

Soybean Growth Period and Process

Soybeans are native to China and mainly grow in plains. They are not only cultivated throughout China, but also widely planted around the world. The plants grow fast, with a growth cycle of about 180 days.

Soybean is one of the important food crops in my country. Its growth goes through several stages, including germination and emergence, seedling growth, flowering, podding, grain filling, and maturity.

Soybean Planting Process and Methods

1. Seed treatment: Before sowing soybeans, the seeds need to be dried in the sun to keep them in a dry state. In addition, they need to be evenly mixed with 0.2% rhizobia.

2. Prepare the soil: Soil is crucial for the growth of soybeans. Before planting, the soil must be prepared and plowed more than 20 cm deep. The soil should be fine and uniform.

3. Sowing: Sow 3-4 seeds each time, with an interval of about 30-50 cm, and then irrigate with appropriate amount of water to keep the soil moist.
