Is it suitable for deep pot or shallow pot?

Should I use a deep or shallow pot for anthurium?

It is generally better to grow calla lilies in deep pots. Although the roots of calla lilies are relatively weak, they can grow deeper. If they are grown in shallow pots, the growth of the roots will be blocked. Using deep pots can provide sufficient growth space.

When planting anthuriums, the material of the flower pot is not very demanding. Generally, clay pots, ceramic pots or purple clay pots are more appropriate, because anthuriums prefer a growing environment with good ventilation and drainage, and these types of flower pots can just meet these conditions.

How to repot white palm

1. Time to repot white palm

It is generally appropriate to repot the anthurium in spring when everything begins to revive, usually in March to May. When repotting, avoid sunny and hot times, and it is best to repot on a cloudy day.

2. Watering after repotting the white palm

After repotting, the calla lily needs to be watered frequently. Water it immediately after changing the potting soil, and then remember to spray some water every day. You can also add some diluted solution of carbendazim when watering.

3. Notes on repotting Spathiphyllum

(1) Time: It is important to choose the right time to remove the Spathiphyllum from the pot. It is not advisable to do so in summer or winter, otherwise the survival rate of the Spathiphyllum will decrease.

(2) Pruning: After removing the white calla lily from the pot, you can prune off the weak growth and diseased roots, so as to save some nutrients. Then soak it in carbendazim for disinfection.

(3) Soil: After removing the anthurium from the pot, the soil should be breathable, loose, fertile and well-drained. This is most beneficial to the later growth of the anthurium.
