The growing cycle of rice is related to the variety. Some varieties have a growth cycle of 3-4 months, while others have a growth cycle of 7-8 months. It is also related to the climate temperature and light in the planting area. The growth cycle in the south is shorter, while the growth cycle in the north is longer.

Rice growth rate

After rice is sown, the radicle will grow out of the soil, and the seedlings will joint after being transplanted. It takes one month from the start of jointing to the growth of the ear. After the ear grows out, the stem will grow taller, bloom and produce full grains.

Rice growth cycle management

For rice, the minimum yield per mu in one season is 600 catties, and the average yield is generally around 1,100 catties. With the improvement of planting technology, the yield of rice is getting higher and higher. my country's hybrid rice varieties can produce about 1,600 catties per mu. In cultivation, it is particularly important to pay attention to the coordination of fertilizer, water and air.

Temperature management: The suitable temperature for rice seedlings to germinate is between 28-32 degrees, the suitable temperature for panicle differentiation period is about 30 degrees, the suitable temperature for heading period is between 25-35 degrees, and the suitable temperature for flowering is about 30 degrees.
