What is Chancai?

Chancai is a rare vegetable. It is a perennial plant, also commonly called Vietnamese spinach or large-leafed wood spinach. It is called Chancai in Guangdong. It is usually on the market in spring. Its production areas are mainly Guangdong, Hunan and other regions.

What does Chancai look like?

The leaves of the Chinese magnolia are relatively round. It is a plant with a taproot system and has a strong branching ability, with more than ten branches. The leaves are alternate, dark green in color, and have a smooth surface without hair.

How to cook Chancai

1. Garlic and choy
