Can enzymes be used as fertilizers?

Enzyme as fertilizer

Enzymes can be used as fertilizers, but they cannot be applied directly to the soil. They need to be mixed with some water and then added to the soil as fertilizer, which can make the originally barren soil fertile again.

Enzymes can be used as flower fertilizers, but in order to prevent the plants from being reversely absorbed by high-concentration enzymes, the fertilizer solution needs to be prepared in a certain proportion before it can be used as a fertilizer for flowers. It is suitable for growing flowers such as jasmine and roses that require high soil fertility.

How to make fertilizer with enzyme

1. Add water to enzyme

Enzyme is a solution fermented from fruits, but the concentration of organic matter in it is too high, so a certain amount of water needs to be added to lower the concentration so that the plants can better adapt when it is applied to the soil.

2. Proper fermentation

Then, place the enzyme that has been added with water in a warm place to ferment for a period of time, allowing the water and the original solution to mix fully and further stimulate the enzyme organic matter. In this way, the organic fertilizer is ready.

Key points for using enzyme fertilizer

1. Apply appropriate amount

Enzyme fertilizers are very effective and contain a large amount of organic matter that can be used for plant growth. If too much is applied at one time, the soil concentration will increase instantly, and the plants will absorb water through the soil, causing them to lose water.

2. Deep burial treatment

Enzyme fertilizer itself has a high sugar content. If applied to the soil surface, it will easily rot and breed pests, causing harm to plants and humans. It is best to bury it deep in the soil.
