Does the green radish grow fast? How much can it grow in a year?

Green radish growth environment

Pothos is native to the Solomon Islands and mainly grows in tropical areas. It is a shade-loving plant that prefers scattered light, has strong shade tolerance, and can be cultivated hydroponically. It is mainly cultivated in Guangdong, Fujian, and Shanghai, China.

Where it grows: Pothos often grows on rocks and tree trunks in rainforests and can survive when it encounters water. When cultivated indoors, it can grow well in potted plants or in hydroponics by breaking off a few stems. It can be attached to a tea-tied cylinder or hung in a study or on a windowsill.

Growing environment: The best growing environment for green radish is humid and hot, without direct sunlight. It is suitable for growing in humus-rich, fertile, slightly acidic soil. The wintering temperature must not be lower than 15℃.

Growth rate of green radish

The growth rate of green radish is relatively fast. Generally speaking, it can take root and sprout in about a month. It can grow quite large after one to two months of cultivation and can grow into a plant with ornamental value in the same year.

How much the green radish can grow in a year depends on its age and growth status. Generally, the green radish can grow 30-40 cm a year.

How to make green radish grow faster

Appropriate lighting: The green radish needs sunlight during its growth process, but be careful not to make the light too strong. Only under appropriate light can its growth momentum be good, especially at noon in midsummer. It must be moved to a position with only scattered light.

Suitable humidity: The growth of green radish requires water support, usually watered every 3 to 4 days. Many people don't know when to water. If the soil becomes dry and white, you can add water, spray water from time to time, and increase the humidity.

Fertilize frequently: In order to speed up the growth of green radish, add fertilizer regularly so that there are enough nutrients in the soil and the plant roots absorb the nutrients. Fertilizer mainly uses nitrogen fertilizer. It is a foliage plant, and nitrogen fertilizer can make it stronger.
