Can radish be hydroponically cultivated? Methods and precautions for hydroponically cultivating radish

Can radish be grown hydroponically?

Radishes can be grown hydroponically or in soil. The hydroponic process is more complicated. Generally, the water needs to be changed once a week, and nutrient solution needs to be added once every half a month. Compared with soil cultivation, it is relatively simple, has a high survival rate, and is very convenient.

Radish hydroponic cultivation method

1. Choose a container: When growing radishes hydroponically, you must choose the container reasonably. Generally, a shallow container should be selected. At the same time, the diameter of the container mouth must be larger than the diameter of the radish. In order to facilitate cleaning, a glass container is best.

2. Plant selection: When hydroponically growing radishes, you need to choose suitable plants. Generally, you cannot choose radishes with wounds to avoid wound infection and rot. At the same time, you need to choose plants with leaves, as such plants have a higher survival rate.

Precautions for growing radish in water

1. Disinfection and soaking: When growing radishes in water, you need to wash them first, then cut the tops of the radishes in parallel, put them in a sterilized glass container, and add an appropriate amount of water so that the water can soak two centimeters of the white radish.

2. Maintain nutrients: After the radish is hydroponically cultivated, it needs to be placed in a ventilated environment and the water quality should be observed. The water should be changed once a week or so, and nutrient solution should be added once every 15 days or so.
