1. Choose the variety

If you want to grow better quality eggplants, you must choose varieties with good disease resistance and regular fruit shape. After choosing the variety, you can buy seeds. The seeds must not have any residual pathogens. Therefore, you must simply process the seeds before planting, eliminate the shriveled seeds, and do a good job of germination. After it germinates, you can sow it.

2. Choose the soil

When planting eggplant seedlings, you should choose fertile and loose soil rich in organic matter with good drainage and irrigation conditions. It is best to plant in areas with sufficient sunlight. First, deep plow the soil, expose it to the sun for disinfection, and make high ridges more than 30 cm. Plant double rows at a height of about 1.5 meters and single rows at a height of about 1 meter.

3. Planting method

Place the eggplant seedlings in the planting hole, cover them with soil and adjust the temperature to 20 degrees. If the temperature is relatively low after planting, you can cover it with plastic film, which will have the effect of keeping warm and moisturizing. You can cover it after the temperature rises.

Precautions for planting eggplant seedlings

Eggplant seedlings prefer a higher temperature environment. The suitable temperature for seed germination is between 25 and 30 degrees. The suitable temperature during the seedling period is 25 to 30 degrees during the day and 15 to 20 degrees at night. Below 15 degrees, the growth is slow and it causes flower drop. When it is below 10 degrees, the metabolism will be disordered.
