Ivy can be planted in spring and autumn. In spring, the most suitable time is around March to June, and the best sowing time in autumn is from August to November. If sown in these two time periods, the germination rate of seeds will be the highest and the growth will be better.

How to plant creeper

1. Seed treatment: Before sowing, ivy seeds need to be disinfected and soaked. It takes about 20 days. They can only be sown when the seeds turn white.

2. Sowing method: Before sowing, the seedbed needs to be finely leveled and watered thoroughly. The seeds should be mixed into sand for sowing. There should be a reasonable planting density and a layer of soil should be covered after sowing.

3. Seedling management: After the ivy grows leaves, it needs to be covered with a layer of film. It needs to be uncovered during the day and covered at night. It needs to be covered all day on rainy days to increase the soil temperature.

Precautions for planting creeper

When caring for ivy, you need to be careful. During the growth period, you need to apply fertilizer 2-3 times to allow it to have sufficient nutrients for growth. You can apply liquid fertilizer. You should also regularly remove weeds to prevent it from being covered by grass, which can also promote its growth to be stronger.
