Lipu taro is generally planted in spring from March to April. Its survival rate is the highest and its growth rate is the fastest when planted during this period. It prefers to grow in a warm and humid environment, so it is difficult for it to survive if planted in other seasons.

Lipu taro planting method

1. Germination treatment: Before planting Lipu taro, you need to choose relatively healthy taro and expose it to the sun for about 2 days. The temperature should be kept between 18-20 degrees and there should be a suitable humidity environment. Young shoots will grow after half a month.

2. Site selection and land preparation: Lipu taro needs to grow in loose, breathable, good quality, and deep sandy loam. Before planting, you need to dig a hole of suitable size, and then loosen the soil around the hole. This will help promote its growth and development after planting.

3. Planting: When planting Lipu taro, it needs to be placed upright in a pit with the bud facing upwards. After planting, the soil needs to be covered to keep it loose.
