Where does Gorgon like to grow?

Gorgon fruit is also called water chestnut, chicken head, etc. It is native to Southeast Asia and is also widely distributed in my country. The current main producing areas are Shangrao, Huai'an, Hongze, Longgang, Zhaoqing and other places. The quality of water chestnuts in these places is very good.

Gorgon fruit can be grown in water or soil. Wild varieties are often found in ponds, reservoirs, lakes, large lakes, etc., and are widely distributed.

Gorgon fruit growth environment and conditions

1. Climate

Gorgon has relatively high requirements for climate. It prefers a warm and humid environment. An overly dry environment is not conducive to its flowering and fruiting.

2. Planting environment

Gorgon requires a normal water source and stable water flow at the planting site. The water level should be around 60-100 cm deep, and there should be a thick sludge layer underneath.

3. Temperature

Gorgon is a plant that likes warmth. The suitable temperature for its growth is 20-30℃. Temperatures that are too high or too low are not conducive to the growth of the plant.
