Is growing chrysanthemums profitable? The cost and profit of planting one acre

Is growing chrysanthemums profitable?

There are many varieties of chrysanthemums on the market, such as wild chrysanthemum, white chrysanthemum, yellow chrysanthemum, etc. Their prices are steadily rising. If the quality is high, the price will be higher. Therefore, if properly maintained, planting chrysanthemums is still very profitable.

Profits and Benefits of Chrysanthemum Planting

The yield of chrysanthemum is relatively high. Under normal circumstances, each acre produces about 2,500 to 2,800 kilograms of flowers. If managed scientifically, based on the current market price, the profit per acre can reach about 5,000 to 7,000 yuan.

High-yield cultivation techniques for chrysanthemum

1. Site selection and land preparation

If you want to get a good yield of chrysanthemums, it is best to choose fertile, loose, well-drained, easy to irrigate, and high and dry land for planting. After plowing and harrowing, make it into 25-30 cm high ridges.

2. Intertillage and weeding

After the chrysanthemums are planted, you can loosen the soil and weed. This should not be done until the chrysanthemums bud. Shuangcao Ke can be used for weed control.

3. Apply fertilizer in time

If you want to achieve high yield of chrysanthemums, fertilization is also essential. Apply about 1,000 kilograms of diluted manure water per acre of land, and also apply some superphosphate as foliar fertilizer.
