How long does it take for beans to germinate?

It takes about 1-2 days for beans to germinate. Generally, they need to be placed in an environment of 25-28℃. Soak the seeds in warm water of 50-55℃, stir while soaking, and then lower the water temperature. After soaking for 15-30 minutes, stop stirring. After soaking for 3 hours, take out the seeds. Then use clean water to remove the mucus on the outside of the seeds and put them in a moist gauze to make the beans germinate better.

Bean germination time

After planting beans, generally speaking, they will sprout after 3-4 days. It is best to cover the bean seedlings with about 6 cm thick soil. If the soil is too thick, the taproot will go too deep into the soil.

If you transplant the seedlings, it is easy to damage the roots. When the bean seedlings grow two leaves, they can be transplanted. You can choose nutritious pots, and 2-3 bean seedlings need to be planted in each pot.

Management of beans after emergence

1. After the beans emerge, water them according to the dryness and wetness of the soil. It is recommended to water them in time to ensure the moisture required for emergence. After 5-7 days, you can use fungus and jinggangmycin to water the bean seedlings to prevent diseases such as root rot.

2. After the beans emerge, they need to be pruned properly and the side buds of the beans should be removed in time.

3. During the growth of bean seedlings, the temperature must be reasonably controlled. The daytime growth temperature should not exceed 30°C, and the nighttime temperature should not exceed 18°C. The requirements for light are not strict, but sufficient ultraviolet rays must be guaranteed, and the supply of fertilizer and water must be strengthened to better allow the bean seedlings to grow.
