How to make tiger lily bloom and bear fruit

1. Soil:

Sansevieria does not have any special requirements for potting soil. As long as the drainage is good, everything else will be fine. You can add some coarse river sand and some leaf mold to the soil to prepare the soil for growing Sansevieria.

2. Watering:

You don’t have to worry about watering the snake plant. Wait until the soil turns white and is completely dry before watering. Overwatering can damage the root system, especially when the temperature is low, which can easily lead to root rot.

3. Lighting:

Tiger Piranha is relatively shade-tolerant and will not turn yellow even if the lighting conditions at home are not very good. But don't deprive it of sunlight for a long time. About 2 hours of sunlight a day is enough.

4. Temperature:

Tiger Piranha has good cold and heat resistance. As long as the temperature is above 5 degrees in winter and below 30 degrees in summer, it can survive. The best growth temperature is around 18~27 degrees.

5. Fertilization

When repotting the snake plant, you can apply some base fertilizer. You can put some slow-release fertilizer at the bottom of the pot and then plant the snake plant. The fertilizer should be buried far away from the roots, otherwise it will easily burn the roots.

6. Blossom and Fruit

If the snake plant blooms, it proves that the current growing environment is suitable. After the flowers bloom, use a cotton swab to pollinate them, and small orange-red fruits will appear. They look very cute!

Don't think that Sansevieria is easy to grow and don't take care of it.

As long as you take care of it,

It will blossom and bear fruit.

Let you have a full sense of accomplishment!
